lyrics
Desire threatens
the rain lessens
my heart a string
and I, high-strung
the door is closed
I cannot utter
people constantly
I'm at your mercy
mercy is a joke
the night a butcher
excuses wide awake
the matter a slumber
what's choking your path
also leads me astray
I haven't gone to you
you haven't come my way
dreams are conditional
they bleed, you watch
music and fear
sorrows and a song
time is broad
hatching its eggs
greetings, welcome
those of ill-health
coffee spells tears
no tea in the coffers
the whole deal's deceased
bury it, brothers

I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. pandr1900
